2018: Year in Review

Books Read: 38 books, 11236 pages

Best in Fiction: Shadow and Bone, Siege and Storm, and Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo (I loved this trilogy so much)

Best in Non-Fiction: Barracoon: The Story of the Last ‘Black Cargo’ by Zora Neale Hurston

Best Movie: (omg in 2014 I watched 129 movies…how?) Black Panther wins top spot but The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is a close second

Best at the Fair: I won another blue ribbon – for my gingerbread this time. I’m so thrilled!

Favorite Podcast: The History of English & Secret Feminist Agenda

Number of Flights: 15

Favorite Trip: Probably our quick family get away to Cleveland. We had to cut it short due to a sick kiddo but it was so nice to get away just the three of us this year. Although M & I sneaking away to Louisville the two of us was also a huge highlight for me.
