In the month of March, my training plan had me running 114 miles – if I didn’t shorten or miss any runs. I ended up with 98 road + trail miles in March, which is the most I have ever run – ever. AND it is 50% more than what I ran in February (exactly 60). And now, we’re nearing the end of April and I just barely feel like I’m coming up for air. My race didn’t go as planned but I’m fairly pleased with my performance and I’m grateful to have pushed myself so hard. That said, I didn’t do much in March except work, run and what I had to keep the toddler alive and safe. I’m hoping for balance between running and my other hobbies (like reading and sewing) in the coming months. That said, my running partner and I are signed up for Columbus in the fall and I can 100% see us sticking with this plan again.
