This recipe is from the Pioneer Woman Cooks and is so sticking simple. I made a pot over the weekend during the snow and it was just what we needed. It made 6 servings when I put 1/2 cup of cooked rice under it. Also, she used a whole chicken (for 12 servings) but I used to whole chicken breasts I got for .69 a pound. I had the broth, onion and carrots so I only needed to buy the celery-making this puppy a cool .66 a serving. If I had to get everything it would have been closer to 1.24 a serving.
