Cafe Haung

pho w/meatballs
pho w/sliced beef
Over the weekend when M’s parents were in town we took them to Cafe Haung, on W Argyle. M took me there for my birthday. Then he got some make your own spring rolls and I had a pretty basic pan fried noodle dish with veggies. It was really good but they are known for their pho.

Pho is a giant meal-sized soup with rice noodles, meat and veggies. Ours came with peppers, sprouts and a lime to add ourselves. I got the most basic (hey, I know-I’m boring!) one with sliced beef and M got the one with meatballs.

They were SO good! I would love to go back (hint, hint) again and try the pho with chicken or tofu. It is most certainly worth checking out.
