The Harris Tweed

Several months ago, one of the theatres that M works at had a sale of their properties and costumes to clean house. I found a great wool skirt that needs let out and a kilt. It is a size two. So I took out all the pleats to get about 3 whole yards of virgin Scottish wool and the plan is to make a different skirt.
But, this. Ah, this didn’t have to fitted or hemmed or anything. This wonderful great coat is such a great pattern and really goes really well with jeans. With the label from the Grand Milwaukee, I can just imagine the history this tweed coat has had, from Scotland, to Milwaukee, to keeping some stylish woman warm in the winter, to the stage, to my closet.
my treasure.
my goofy self.
