Apple Picking

M and I went apple picking out near DeKalb today. Finally, traffic wasn’t bad and we got there in only 1 1/2 hours. It was so worth it, despite the long long wait and misbehaving children. We got to go on a straw ride (which was incorrectly described as hay 🙂 and picked several types of apples. Of course, I can’t say which ones they were now, except probably Golden Delicious, Jonathons, Ida Reds, and Gala.

It was one of those rare fall days, when the sun is hiding and its cool and crisp. There was a corn maize, pumpkin patch and duck races.

Sadies

Disclaimer: The camera DID make it into the truck and the lens is broken so no pictures were taken. Darn technology.
